Pushing Miracle Whips
If you’re one of those people (i.e., a 10-year-old) who thinks it would actually be cool to drive a Dale Earnhardt signature edition car, you may be interested in a growing trend cropping up around New Orleans: “sticker cars.” Taking their cues from the NASCAR track, these Warholian monstrosities are fully “wrapped” with decals from popular brands like Lucky Charms, Lemonheads, and Flaming Hot Cheetos. The Times-Picayune recently ran a report on sticker car culture, and even if you don’t have time to read the article it’s worth checking out this amusing video:

If I got a sticker car, I would definitely get a Dunkin’ Donuts Turbo Ice mini van. But I would want to get paid for driving a four-wheel billboard, not shell out $1000 of my own money. Free Car Media claims they’ll “wrap” your car with an ad (not of your choice) and pay you up to $900/month—might be a better route to consider unless you just really love Mike & Ikes that much.
