- Determine which neighborhood is best for you
- Find a list of no-fee rental apartments, browse listings or work with a trusted real estate agent
- Move yourself or hire a mover
- Hire a fake-wall installer
- Get renter’s insurance
- Sign up for utilities (as soon as you sign your lease)
- If you have debt, consider your options (consolidation/forgiveness)
- Open a bank account
- Signup for a credit card and begin to build credit
- Understand your healthcare options
- Consider a new cell phone plan
