I'll be moving into my own place after the summer and I'm thinking about taking my dog from home with me (she's a beautiful pug). Any advice for someone juggling a pet and grad school? I'm not sure if it's just selfish of me to take her from my parents and bring her with me!

Pugs are awesome, Maria! I was looking after a friend's dog for a few months at school and it was great. The only pain is if you want/need to go away for a weekend, so I would make sure to line up a couple of friends who can look after her while you're away. As long as your place isn't too far away from campus and your schedule isn't too hectic you should be able work it out... good luck!
